Puzzle Pleasure
As part of the 25 days of Christmas celebration, choose a couple of days this month for puzzles and games. Today we had fun with a Christmas puzzle.
I picked up a 360 degree Christmas ornament puzzle from Barnes and Noble the other day. It seems like there is so much going on on Christmas morning that a puzzle ornament would probably be pushed aside for some more exciting or more anticipated gift. But, putting together puzzles today was an unexpected surprise and brought the Christmas fun forward a few weeks. Next week I have another surprise for them. The Travel Australia Game. My kids love games and geography so that alone may make this game a winner, but there is more to it than that. My children's grandmother is Australian. How fun it will be for them to learn about the places and events from their Nana's childhood! I'm sure it will also press on us a longing desire to visit the wonders Down Under and see the sights for ourselves, but for now the game will have to suffice.
